How Do I Log In?

Accessing Electronic Resources

Accessing articles, eBooks, streaming videos and other electronic resources will look similar to logging into a Canadore library account.

As of May 2025, students can now access online resources on the library via their @canadorestudents.ca Microsoft account.

 When trying to access a resource students will be prompted to login with the same screen as shown on the "To Access My Library Account" tab using their Canadore email and password.

 Now if a student has any login related issues for the library they can contact service.desk@canadorecollege.ca for assistance.

 If they can provide identifying information and explain their issue they can assist.

USERNAME: @canadorestudents.ca email acct

PASSWORD: Canadore Email Password 

  • Use the search bar to look for materials by entering, keywords, author name, or title
  • When you find an electronic resource select the AVAILABLE ONLINE text
  • An information window will pop up with a section titled VIEW ONLINE, this section will contain one or more links that can be selected to access the item online

  • Clicking a link may take you directly to the item OR it will take you to a log in window 

    • USERNAME: @canadorestudents.ca email acct / @canadorecollege.ca email acct (Staff / Faculty)

    • PASSWORD: Canadore Email Password

Your Library Account is where you can

  • View items you have signed out
  • Renew items
  • View any requests you have placed

If you are trying to access e-resources such as Articles, eBooks and Streaming Video please see tab labelled To Access Articles & eBooks

To Log In To your Library Account

USERNAME: Canadore Email (ex. kimseokjin@canadorestudents.ca)

PASSWORD: Same Password as Your Canadore Email Password

  • Select the SIGN IN option located in the right hand corner of the Canadore Search Screen

  • You will be prompted to select either Canadore College or Nipissing University for your log in. Select Canadore College
  • You will be taken to a log in screen

  • Enter your username and password
    • USERNAME: Canadore Email (ex. kimseokjin@canadorestudents.ca)
    • PASSWORD: Same Password as Your Canadore Email Password
