Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by Earthday.org including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. The official theme for 2024 is "Planet vs. Plastics." Wikipedia

The Resource Guide "Earth, Nature & You" is a compilation of Library and external resources focused on environmental issues and interests. It includes lists of Books, E-Books, Personal Stories, Research & Biographies, Food Sustainability, Photography and Atlases, and Field Guides. It also provides books focused on Young Adults and Children but are available to everyone.
